Seena Sleem

 

Seena Sleem joined the Western Mass News team as an anchor and reporter in August 2016.

Seena took her first television job at the NBC affiliate KMTR News in Eugene, OR. She covered everything from fires to court cases and was the first to break an international story. She also provided content for both BBC and The Daily Post.

In addition, Seena has won a regional Emmy for her coverage of the Umqua Community College shooting that made national headlines.

After spending two years in the Pacific Northwest, Seena made her way back home to New York City working as a reporter for FiOS1 News in Long Island where she covered a variety of stories from features to hard news.

A proud native New Yorker, Seena graduated from New York University with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and Politics. She also spent a summer studying abroad in Prague.
