The winter edition of Friday Night Frenzy is underway and what better way to start this season than with one of the marquee sporting events in the region: the Hoophall Classic.

After two separate incidents at Chicopee Comprehensive High School football games this year, including a gun drawn in the stands on Thanksgiving, city leaders are developing a plan to improve safety measures moving forward.

Week 8 of Friday Night Frenzy also took us to check out the action between the Amherst Hurricanes and the East Longmeadow Spartans and the Purple Knights of Holyoke visit the Colts of Chicopee Comprehensive High School.
We head to pitch to check out the action as Springfield International Charter School hosts the Greenfield Green Wave, then head to Ludlow where the Lions faced the Blue Devils from Northampton High School.
