The Westfield Starfires unfortunately did not come away victorious Tuesday night.

A verdict was delivered Tuesday in the trial of Volodymyr Zhukovskyy, the West Springfield truck driver who was on trial for a 2019 crash that killed 7 motorcyclists in New Hampshire.

The road will be closed for an unspecified amount of time while officers conduct an investigation in the area.

The repainting of the lines is in a different area than where the fatal crash occurred, but the goal is to prevent crashes, slow down traffic, and make sure people see where the lines are.

Investigators are looking for the public’s help in identifying two individuals in connection with an incident at a Springfield fast-food restaurant.

The multistate fair kicks off on September 16, but preparations are already underway, which includes filling jobs.
