Meteorological summer is coming to an end but the mid-summer heat will be sticking around! Temperatures will be flirting with 90 along with moderate levels of humidity into Thursday as a large dome of high pressure takes hold! Wednesday will likely be the hottest day of the week and Thursday will likely be the most humid, out ahead of a cold front.

The front brings a chance for a few showers and storms later Thursday but also brings an end to the high heat and humidity levels. Friday will be noticeably cooler and less muggy with sunshine. Right now the holiday weekend features plenty of sunshine, gradually warmer temperatures but still relatively comfortable humidity levels until it gets muggy again by Monday.
