Partly cloudy skies on the way tonight. Warm but more humid tomorrow

After a dry day today another cool night is on the way. It will begin to turn more humid tomorrow and the heat and humidity will return for the start of the work week.

Under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies tonight it's going to be another cool night. There could be some patchy fog as we head toward dawn. Lows will drop back into the lower and middle 50s.

Tomorrow will feature sunshine once again mixing with clouds though it will begin to turn more humid. As a upper level disturbance approaches from New York it will weaken but may have just enough moisture associated with it to trigger an isolated shower or storm. Highs will top out in the lower 80s with dew points rising into the lower 60s.

If you had to characterize this Summer in one word, you might choose - hot or hazy. Well western Mass is turning back to that summer we've become accustomed to next week. Turning hazy, hot and humid just in time for many of the kids to head back to school. A ridge of high pressure over the Southeast will allow temperatures up and down the coast to soar into the lower 90s - a potential heat wave for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Humidity will also get quite high with dew points back to the high 60s and even around 70 over this time as well. Heat indices will be in the upper 90s to near 100° on Tuesday and Wednesday. A front looks to linger to our north for a few days, then sink southward with some showers and heat relief by Thursday and Friday.
