Look for a quiet and comfortable overnight with a mix of high clouds and stars as temperatures reach the 50s. The annual Perseid meteor shower is already underway and even though it peaks next week you may see some fireballs tonight if the clouds stay thin enough! This high clouds are out ahead and associated with developing low pressure along a stationary front over the Ohio Valley. Clouds mostly of the high, thin variety will continue to fan out and stream in our direction Friday before they clear Friday night. The rain associated with the storm stays well to our south and probably even south of coastal southern New England. Only the Outer Cape and Nantucket may see a few raindrops over the weekend Saturday night. In western Massachusetts, our weekend looks dry and warm with sun mixing with clouds Saturday and then mostly sunny skies Sunday! The beautiful weather continues Monday with no significant showers until late Tuesday.First Warning Meteorologist Rick Sluben
