(Meredith) -- Get ready for cheap flights to Iceland again, because WOW Air is making a comeback.

The airline was made famous for its low-cost flights to Iceland.

In early 2019, WOW Air declared bankruptcy and ceased operations.

The news of bankruptcy was sad for tourists looking to travel to the nation, as well as for the nation of Iceland itself. According to Lonely Planet, WOW Air was responsible for shuttling more than one-fourth of Iceland’s international visitors.

However, the airline will soon resume service thanks to USAerospace Associates, an American company that provided WOW Air with an $85 million investment.

WOW Air will be keeping its name and the famous purple-colored airplanes.

The relaunch will be slow, starting with just two airplanes in October. That number is expected to increase to 10 planes by the middle of 2020.

The airline’s operations will move to Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. It will also have facilities in Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland, and at Keflavík International Airport in Iceland.
