Pittsfield police seize illegal guns, ammunition after search

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Pittsfield police department seized illegal guns and ammunition yesterday from a home in the city.

The department executed a search warrant due to a recent incident where officers had probable cause to believe illegal guns and firearms were kept at the location.

Wednesday’s search lead to officers finding four handguns, a rife, and dozens of rounds of ammunition.
