The Zoo in Forest Park hosts Spooky Safari

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - On Saturday, the Zoo in Forest Park welcomed it’s return of the annual Spooky Safari. The event covered the zoo head to toe in seasonal Halloween decorations as kids were welcomed to trick-or-treat as they visited the animals.

The Spooky Safari was also capped off with a costume contest, separated into three categories. Winners of the contest were able to take home a prize.

The Zoo in Forest Park reminds people that the visiting season will be ending soon on November 8th.
