(WGGB/WSHM) - Nine dogs, that have been impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires, are on their way to Massachusetts and will arrive late Friday.

MSPCA-Angell made the announcement Friday that the dogs will be on a flight arranged by Best Friends Animal Society. Upon arrival in Delaware, the animals will be met by MSPCA-Angell vans that will bring them to the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem.

The dogs range in age from roughly one to 10-years-old and include mixes of hounds, German shepherds, pit bulls, and cattle dogs. They will be available for adoption after their state-mandated 48-hour quarantine and after receiving any necessary medical care.
