PITTSFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Fire officials in Pittsfield are investigating what caused a house fire Monday evening.
According to the Pittsfield Fire Department, crews were called to Dawes Avenue around 5:15 p.m. Monday and found flames climbing up the back of the home into the attic when they arrived. Several walls and ceilings had to be torn through in order for firefighters to reach the fire.
