Reconstruction work coming soon to Springfield’s ‘X’ intersection

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Reconstruction work is set to begin soon at the ‘X’ intersection in Springfield.

According to Springfield DPW, MassDOT will be creating a website that will include the ability for the public to follow along with the construction schedule and sign-up for notifications.

There will also be a project hotline number, as well as an email address, for community members to discuss with the project team.

A public information meeting is set for early May where officials will present construction phase of the project to the public.
