12 displaced following 3-alarm fire in Chicopee

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - On Sunday morning, emergency crews battled a 3-alarm fire at 26 Belcher Street in Chicopee.

At least a dozen people have been displaced as a result of the fire, as the three story home had 10 residential units. Everybody made it out safe though, and two cats were rescued.

The fire was contained and the Red Cross is assisting, as the home is uninhabitable.
